Institutional aspects of quality assurance in Ukraine

This conference will bring together about 80 decision-makers and education and training experts from Ukraine and Europe to discuss issues of quality assurance.

The conference has been jointly organised by the British Council, the European Training Foundation, the Council of Europe and the Institute of Professional Qualifications in Ukraine.

Aims

The conference will debate different options and scenarios for institutional development of quality assurance using international experience and analysing what would fit for Ukraine.

This event follows on from a week of related workshops the British Council is facilitating in Ukraine, together with the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education:

Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 December 2014: Two day workshop for Ukraine's Ministry of Education staff and a group of experts, to advise on the newly created National Quality Assurance Agency in Ukraine and provide expert review of the Statute for Ukraine NQAA 

Thursday 11 December 2014: One day workshop for 25 Chancellors/Vice-Chancellors of leading Ukraine universities, on the institutional aspects of quality assurance in the Ukrainian education system

Representatives of the government agencies and institutions of Ukraine, representatives of vocational education and training and higher education institutions, and experts in quality assurance.
