Global Education Dialogues: Graduated but unemployed- challenges for Nigerian graduates

This policy dialogue will bring together senior policy makers in the higher education sector in Nigeria to discuss the issues surrounding graduate employability. This is an important opportunity to share and feed into the British Council’s 3 year research initiative ‘Universities, Employability and Inclusive Development’ being led by the Institute of Education, University of London. Research teams from the 5 countries involved in this research from Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and the UK will share emerging findings from the project at the event.

Event aims and objectives:

To assess the overall situation of employability of Nigerian graduates and to identify recent initiatives that have sought to address these challenges.
