Let your students know about the exciting opportunities to study and conduct research in Japan

The Experience Japan Exhibition is back for a seventh year to help further the internationalisation of the UK student body by showcasing the various options available to experience Japan and promote student exchanges between the UK and Japan.

The Exhibition, which is being hosted by Keio University (Japan) and co-hosted by the British Council, will take place on Saturday 18 November 2017 at the Royal Society in London.

Aims and objectives

The focus of the event will be the provision of information on the various programmes of study offered by the 14 participating Japanese higher education institutions. There will also be a chance to find out about the variety of scholarships and research funding available to enable students to take advantage of these learning opportunities. The event will introduce other programmes that allow young people to experience Japan, such as the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. The seminar line-up offers participants the chance to hear directly from people with experience of studying and conducting research in Japan. Guest speakers will also be delivering sessions that will provide insight on Japanese popular culture and language.

Who can attend?

The event will be of interest to university and secondary school students of all levels and disciplines, particularly those studying areas related to Japan and East Asia.
