Tina Liu, University College London (UCL)

Tina heads up operations in China for Drewry- a maritime adviser with 100 staff split between offices in London, Delhi, Singapore and Shanghai.

Siddharth Chowdhury, University of Stirling

Siddharth was shortlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize in 2009. He now lives and writes in Delhi.

Mitch Robinson, Aberystwyth University 

Mitch is a leading international law expert and recently published the first instalment of his novel series, 22:10.

 

Entrepreneurial Award

Zhao Xinyu, Cardiff University

Zhao is the founder and Chief Executive of Bang Travel, an e-commerce enterprise which provides self-guided travel services to the Chinese community.

Amit Inamdar, University of Liverpool

Amit founded PlusOne Design for Humanity. PlusOne makes school bags from non-recyclable materials.

Chandler Robinson, University of Cambridge

Chandler is co-founder and CEO of Tactic Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company developing pre-clinical and clinical stage compounds for unmet medical needs. 

 

Social Impact Award

Ella Wang, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)

Ella now plays a key role in environmental protection as Low Carbon Development Director at Elion Resources Group in Beijing.

Rajesh Babu Bhatchala, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

Rajesh Babu Bhatchala founded Drishti Vision for Life in Karnataka, making it possible for people of all economic backgrounds to have access to high quality affordable eye care in India. 

Ruthe Farmer, University of Oxford

Ruthe is a chief strategy and growth officer for the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT), a not-for-profit community of more than 600 organisations.
