James Chau’s journalism is renowned internationally, featured in both the Financial Times and Vanity Fair Magazine.  After graduating from the University of Cambridge, he went on to be the Guest Presenter on BBC World’s Horizons, a show which delves into ‘emerging innovations in rapidly developing cities’.  Following this, he was the main anchor on CCTV news in 2004 until 2014. He has reported on ground breaking news, including the Air Asia and Malaysian Airlines aviation disasters and the recent Ebola outbreak.  

James’ work as UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador focuses on youth, women and drug users. He has spoken at many high profile events and meetings, including the UN General Assembly and the Rio+20 Earth Summit. He has interviewed a range of high profile figures, including Winnie Mandela and Chinese First Lady, Peng Liyuan.
