Arnab Goswami is the Editor-in-Chief and news anchor of the Indian news channel Times Now. The Newshour, and also hosts a special television programme Frankly Speaking with Arnab.  He is the recipient of numerous awards and has also written a book, Combating Terrorism: The Legal Challenge.

After completing his Masters in Social Anthropology at the University of Oxford, he believes that his UK degree helped in the very competitive Indian job market.   He describes his experience in the UK as “tremendous … I was about 20 and the youngest in the college. It was a wonderful diversity.” 

Arnab said that “a UK degree holds tremendous value in India, which is why I am all for undergraduate and postgraduate study in the UK.”  He also believes that studying in the UK can strengthen ties between the UK and India.  “Almost everyone will come back to India but the experience they have gathered will help bring the two countries together”.
