We welcome visitors with disabilities and those bringing pushchairs. If you need help with access, or have any questions, please let us know.

If you use a wheelchair or are unable to navigate the stairs, please tell the person you are visiting in advance, so we can prepare a suitable emergency evacuation plan.

Our London office is located in a modern office block in Spring Gardens, close to the Mall, Admiralty Arch and Trafalgar Square.

  • Charing Cross Underground station is 180m away. 
  • Charing Cross train station is 350m away.
  • Trafalgar Square (Stop S) bus stop is 76m away.

There is a slight kerb to negotiate at the main entrance of the building on Spring Gardens.

Drop off      

The nearest taxi drop-off point is on Spring Gardens. This drop-off point is 15m from the main entrance.

There is also a drop-off point outside the main entrance that can be used by visitors with disabilities. Please contact us before your visit so that we can arrange this.

Parking

We can arrange parking close to the building for Blue Badge holders only. Please contact us before your visit so that we can arrange this.

The nearest public car park, Q-Park, is 19m away. It is pay-and-display. Pre-book your parking here

There are two public disabled person parking bays on Spring Gardens. To use these you need to display a Blue Badge.

What to expect when you arrive

Main entrance   

Step-free access to the London office is provided via the main entrance on Spring Gardens. The main door is accessible to wheelchair and pushchair users.

The width of the main entrance door is 167cm.

Assistance dogs are welcome. 

Reception    

There is a reception desk inside the main entrance. Our staff will be happy to help if you require any assistance.

After reception, there is a security gate, which is 86cm wide. 

Building overview 

The London office is on ten levels, with wide corridors accessible to visitors using wheelchairs on all floors. All floors except the top floor are accessible via lifts. The first floor and part of the second floor are sub-let to another organisation.

There is a café in the basement and function rooms on the upper ground floor accessible via a lift. 

Meeting rooms

There are accessible meeting rooms on all floors. All meeting rooms can be reached via the lifts, apart from those on the top floor.

Our largest meeting room, the Prince of Wales suite, has a fixed loop hearing assistance system. The other meeting rooms do not have hearing loops.

Lift and stairs  

You can reach all floors, except the top floor, by lift or stairs.

The lift is a passenger lift. The lift door width is 90cm. 

The lift has an audible announcer. The buttons have raised numbers but no Braille.

The stairs have a handrail on both sides.

Please contact us before your visit if you think the lift will be unsuitable for you so that we can make alternative arrangements. 

Accessible toilet    

There is an accessible toilet near the reception desk on the ground floor of the building, suitable for people using wheelchairs. 

The width of the toilet door is 94cm. The door opens outwards.

There are further accessible toilets on each floor of the building, apart from the top floor. The doors are 100cm wide.
