Consultant for a framework for professional training in Gulf

About this opportunity 

We are currently seeking a consultant to develop a framework for establishing professional research & development centres in the Gulf.  This forms part of the Gulf Science, Innovation and Knowledge Economy Strategy being delivered in partnership between UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrail Strategy, the British Council and other delivery partners. 

The response deadline has been extended to 10 December 2016 at 17.00 UK time.

The framework will be a roadmap outlining potential processes and costed options for the future establishment of collaborative professional development centres for researchers, between Gulf and UK institutions.

As part of this activity the successful supplier will be expected to deliver a detailed report on how these centres could operate and the potential costs involved

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The successful bidder will possess relevant education and training experience preferably acquired in an international context. They will have a knowledge of the UK and Gulf higher education systems and have the ability to deliver new and creative options for establishing these centres as part of this overall framework.  We welcome applications from all suitably qualified consultants who may be based in the UK, Gulf countries or elsewhere.
