New Voices supports emerging UK-based artists, including those from diverse and less well represented backgrounds, bringing them together with artists from across Europe who face similar challenges.
The programme enables UK and European artists to develop fresh ideas and skills to tackle contemporary challenges together and share their work as a representation of multiple cultural expressions across Europe.
New Voices is structured around three main pillars:
- Gender equality and diversity in music including WeAreEquals programme, Selector Radio and After Dark
- New voices in writing including Literature Seminar Germany, Hay festival Segovia, New UK Drama
- Diversity on screens including film festivals in Poland and touring film packages (BAFTA shorts etc.) across Europe.
