We are now looking for heritage professionals to support the assessment process of our Disaster and Climate Change Preparedness in East Africa round.
This is a paid opportunity (payment is per written assessment submitted) for individuals from any country or region with experience in emergency preparedness for cultural heritage. Experience working with cultural heritage in East Africa and/or in writing or assessing funding applications is desirable.
The Cultural Protection Fund is an initiative of the UK government, which has dedicated over £30 million in official development assistance (ODA) funding between 2016 and 2020 to support cultural heritage in conflict-affected countries. As part of our wider work in culture and development, we manage the Cultural Protection Fund in partnership with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
Should you have any questions email firstname.lastname@example.org to speak with someone in the Cultural Protection Fund team. We look forward to receiving your application.
