UK

Our work in the UK is delivered in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland

We work with a range of partner organisations to deliver the programme across all sections of society in the UK. Each year we recruit 12 Partners with local and national reach to use their networks and expertise in delivering through training modules; we make sure that our selected Partners cover a wide georgraphical spread, as well as representing different sectors, including youth, arts, social enterprise, faith and gender equality.

We also co-ordinate a centralised residential training, called our Social Leadership Programme, where we deliver Active Citizens to individual community activists and broaden our reach across the country.

Find out how you can get involved in the programme in the UK in 2016-17.

Read stories below of the impact Active Citizens has had on UK participants and partners, including Social Action Projects (SAPs) and how the programme has helped partners build their capacity.
