A group of Active Citizens from Belfast recorded a podcast during their visit to Sudan in March 2011.

The group consisted of representatives of several community and voluntary organisations based in Belfast, and affiliated with the ‘South Belfast Partnership’.  Most them were from Northern Ireland, but some members of the group were originally from England, Nigeria, Peru and Romania.

They visited Sudan, specifically Khartoum and the surrounding area, from 18 – 25 March 2011, and joined representatives from Darfur, Kassala and the Blue Nile to exchange information and ideas, and to visit various projects in the region.
