Seona Reid was Director of the Glasgow School of Art (1999 - 2013). Having held many positions in public life, she is currently Chair of the National Theatre of Scotland, Vice Chair of Wasps Artist Studios, a Trustee of Edinburgh International Cultural Summit Foundation, a member of the British Council Board and Chair of its Scotland Advisory Committee.
Seona is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the Royal Society of Arts and became a Dame in 2013 for services to the creative industries.
