PLACEMENT TEST AND COUNSELLING SERVICES

If you are a new student to the British Council, you will need to take a placement test (NT$250) in order to assess your current level of English. Our counselling staff will help you select the course which is the most suitable for you in terms of your needs and level of English. The placement test result is valid for a six-month period. You will know your level immediately after taking the placement test and can then register for a course. The whole procedure of placement test and registration will take approximately 1.5 hours.  Please arrive at our office on or before the time to ensure the quality of the placement test.

If you have a valid IELTS Test Report Form dated within the last 6 months, please inform us when you book a placement test. If you bring the Test Report Form to the British Council on your placement test day you will be entitled to a free placement test (for IELTS/Adults/Academic Writing courses only).

You need to make an appointment for the placement test by contacting 02 8722 1000 or email.
