VISA AND PASSPORT

The Visa Handling Unit of the British Trade of Cultural Office in Taipei will cease to process visa applications on 15 April 2009. All Taiwan visa applications for the UK will be forwarded to Manila for processing from 15 April 2009. The standard working days for processing visa application is 5-15 days.

Applications for all categories of UK visas should be made at the Visa Application Centre (VAC), which run by the global partner, VFS Global. The UK Visa Application Centres are officially authorized by the British Trade and Cultural Office in Taipei to accept applications for all categories of visa from Taiwan residents and visit visa applications (only) from applicants who are not resident in Taiwan.
