Our Young Learner courses range from primary school to secondary school and aim to develop students' confidence and command of spoken and written English within the structured framework of the Council of Europe. The courses are designed to consolidate and extend the English learnt at school
At each level, teachers use a variety of teaching methods ensuring that lessons are both effective and enjoyable. In addition to following a course book, all students are involved in different types of activities suitable for their age group. These include pair and group work, role-play, interactive language games, music and CD-Roms. Students also have access to library facilities.
Courses for learners who are 6 and 7 years old (P1 and P2) have a maximum of 12 children in each.
Our Primary school courses are topic-based and are designed to be communicative, motivating and fun. Our lessons focus on developing children's confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing through creative activities, language games, songs, stories and videos. Children may take Cambridge ESOL Young Learner Tests at the end of the year.
Our courses are divided into 5 levels from beginner/false beginners upwards and run once-a-week (3 hours) or twice-a-week (1.5 hours each lesson).
