JULY SUMMER PROGRAMME FOR CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS
This summer we are offering English courses for 4 weeks in July (15 hours/week) for children and teenagers aged 6-17 in Aldoar, Gaia and São João de Madeira. Working with partner schools means that classes will be on the premises of the partner schools with British Council teachers and courses, with an all-day activity option provided by the partner school.
Each week is one discrete module of 15 hours so you can choose which module(s) you want to join. The timetable will be from 0930-1230 or 1430-1730, depending on location. Our English classes are stimulating, motivating and use creative communicative activities for learning, and involve pair work, group work, role-plays, music and literature. Our summer courses lead up to a presentation of work for parents on the Friday of each week.

JULY AND SEPTEMBER SUMMER PROGRAMME FOR ADULTS
This summer we are offering three types of course at British Council Breiner:
- Intensive General English modules in June and July for 6 weeks, 30-hours (6 hours/week)
- Regular General English modules in June, July and September for 10 weeks, 30-hours (3 hours/week)
- Speak with Confidence modules during June and July, 20-hours (4 hours/week)
- IELTS exam preparation courses in July and September, 24-hours (6 hours/week).
Our General English courses develop your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in a collaborative environment that maximises learner participation. Our Speak with Confidence courses develop confidence and speaking skills and our IELTS preparation course is for those just about to take the IELTS exam.
To join any of these courses, you must take a free placement test, or already be studying at the British Council.
