The British Council IELTS Preparation Facility for Registered Candidates

The British Council’s Knowledge and Learning Centre (KLC) now offers those planning to take the IELTS access to a wide range of preparation materials. Candidates who have already registered with the British Council to take the exam or participate in a workshop may use this facility free of charge from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Candidates may bring their own portable CD players and earphones.

What can the IELTS Self-Access facility offer?

Copies of the latest IELTS Preparation Coursebook titles from the UK
A wide range of Practice Test books and audio CDs
Comfortable study areas
Access to other resources in the KLC which may be useful, including information about the UK

Who can use the IELTS Self-Access facility?

To be eligible to use the facility users must be one of the following:

Currently registered to take an IELTS test
Currently registered for an IELTS workshop
Currently a regular Teachers Club member. Annual membership is 500 pesos

What are the conditions of use?

Users must be able to provide an original receipt for a valid (forthcoming) IELTS test date OR IELTS workshop AND a valid ID to use the facility. If they are Teachers Club members, they must be able to present their membership card.
The facilities are only available until the date of the test or workshop.
Users must take care of the items they use and return them in good condition

When can I use the facility?

The normal operating hours are from 9am to 4pm, Mondays to Saturdays.
We are closed on Sundays and some public holidays.
