Under the INSPIRE project and following a scoping visit by the Leadership Foundation, different training programmes were planned for Vice-Chancellors, Pro-Vice-Chancellors, Deans and Rectors of Universities and senior officials of the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. These trainings are designed to improve the participants’ strategic planning and leadership, and enhance their capacities by introducing management tools and providing an orientation to working in the universities of the UK. 6 Leadership trainings have been conducted so far and 95 senior university officials including Vice-Chancellors and Pro-Vice-Chancellors have been trained.
