The University of Nottingham is a dynamic and successful institution, located in the heart of the UK , and consistently ranks among the top British universities. We are proud to have been awarded the Times Higher Education Institution of the Year 2006 award. The University's excellent reputation for research is internationally recognised and was boosted in 2003 by the award of two Nobel Prizes for Economics and for Medicine.
Twenty-six of our subject areas were rated 5 or 5* (internationally excellent) in the Research Assessment Exercise and thirty were ranked excellent in the independent assessment of teaching quality. Our faculties of Arts and Humanities, Built Environment, Education, Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences and Science offer undergraduate courses along with a wide range of postgraduate programmes, including taught (MA/MSc) and research (MPhil, PhD) degrees.
University arranged accommodation is guaranteed to all new full time EU students who apply by the required deadline. Single sex accommodation is available as well.
Our international office has a dedicated team of staff to support applicants from their initial contact with the university, through the application process, and throughout their time at Nottingham . We are well aware of how scholarships play an important part in assisting many overseas students with their study here in the UK , and are proud of the funding opportunities that we are able to offer our EU students
