Application deadline: 17 July 2009

The British Council 60th Anniversary Scholarships celebrate our 60 years in Hong Kong by giving Hong Kong students the chance to experience a UK education .We are delighted to announce that we will be able to launch a second round of scholarships from 5 June 2009, for those who might have missed the chance to apply in the first-round, or are looking for a last-minute opportunity to obtain a scholarship to study in the UK in the 2009-2010 academic year.

The scholarships to be awarded involve the waiving of tuition fees for one year of study in a school, college or university.

If you are a permanent resident of Hong Kong you could be eligible for a 60th Anniversary Scholarship, whether you are interested in school, further education or a bachelor or master's degree.

The scheme is managed by the British Council. Selection will be carried out by the individual schools, colleges or universities you apply to. Once you have submitted your scholarship application, these institutions may require further information as part of their selection process.
