The Intercollegiate Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (IMRCS) is one the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland and is open to surgeons who have passed all parts of the Intercollegiate Membership examination and meet the criteria set.
Commencing with the diet to be held in January 2011, the Part 1 and Part 2 (MCQ) written papers detailed in the MRCS Regulations (dated June 2006 revised April 2009) will be replaced by the Part A (MCQ) written paper for all new candidates. Candidates taking Part A for the first time in or after January 2011 will do so under new Regulations (January 2011), please see detailed information in the announcement.

Intercollegiate MRCS Part 3, 2012 Examinations Dates
The places will be offered in the first place to candidates who were unable to get a place in Cairo exam due to the capping of numbers.
Candidates who register in both (Cairo October session and Alexandria December session) will not be entitled to a refund for Alexandria should they be successful in Cairo.
N.B. We do not accept cash payments and all payments should be in Egyptian Pounds Only and through one of the following methods:

2012 Examination dates for part 3
Requirements:
- Part 1: completed application PLUS primary medical qualification.
- Part 2: completed application, primary medical qualification PLUS approval of one year internship.
- Part A: Completed application, primary medical qualification PLUS approvals on one year internship PLUS 2 signed and stamped photos
Re-sit candidates: completed re application plus a copy of their result letter
