The qualifications we require:-
Electrical, Electronic, Electrical Power Engineering or Computer Science, Software Engineering graduates (Minimum qualification - BEng 2:1)
Knowledge of C, C++, Real-time RTOS, UML, XML, Java.
You will join the Automation Research and Development Centre of Excellence located in Stafford where after a period of up to 2 years, you will be eligible to take a position in our Automation business unit in Shanghai and further develop your career in a truly international company.

Areva/BOND Programme
As an overseas graduate on the Areva / BOND programme you will take part in a two-year development programme which is designed to introduce you to our industry. This will provide you with new experiences and challenges which will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful within our global business.
During these two years, you will receive a mixture of formal training and on-the-job learning experiences.
For the first year and possibly the second, you will be based in the UK, and employed under the BOND Scheme, managed by the British Council. BOND has been working with UK businesses since 1998, helping them to expand their business into developing markets by arranging UK based training and work experience placements for overseas professionals. The BOND team, based in Manchester will arrange for the appropriate work permit and visa as required.
Based in Areva’s offices in Stafford, you will be fully supported throughout by a mentor and line manager, who will guide your development from a personal and technical perspective. The British Council BOND team will arrange payment of your living allowance and will also provide ongoing support and you will have access to a 24/7 emergency help line.
