TEACHING ENGLISH FOR THE BRITISH COUNCIL

version française
THE LANGUAGE ASSISTANTS PROGRAMME
A 25 year success story of working with the Québec Ministry of Education.

For 25 years the British Council has run a reciprocal Language Assistant programme with the province of Québec. Each year, over 40 UK and Quebec students participate in the exchange. Selected students are stationed at schools in towns and cities across different regions where they live and teach for a year. They share their language skills and benefit from the enriching cultural exchange.
