PURPOSE

The project focuses on establishing a cadre of State-level officials who will have the capacity and skills (including personal and professional development) necessary for meeting international standards and functioning in international contexts. By enhancing the skills of these targeted individuals we will improve the ability of BiH institutions to manage the Euro-Atlantic accession agenda.

TARGET INSTITUTIONS

Our main partners are key influencers in BiH. These include State-level Government officials, civil servants and employees of State-level institutions: individuals involved in EU accession and co-ordination with international community. The four institutions which the project primarily focuses on are:

			Directorate for EU Integration (DEI)
			BiH Presidency
			Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)
			Ministry of Civil Affairs (MoCA)

ACTIVITIES

			Blended Learning: developing capacity to use English language as an enabler with other activities in the process of EU integration
			Intensive capacity building sessions in the areas of Formal Correspondence and EU Presentation Skills
			A study tour to Brussels for selected participants to familiarize themselves and align with EU institutions and procedures
			Sustainability component: train-the-trainer workshops
