Creative Collaboration is a regional project for cultural activists in more than ten South East European countries. The project addresses the major cultural issues that arise from changing social realities in South East Europe, which are highly relevant to professional cultural practitioners in Europe today. This project will allow cultural figures across the region to cross borders, and collaborate with peers in other countries in order to develop and present their work.
The project will run until the end of 2009 and foresees the development of international collaborative productions in various spheres of the arts world. Cultural activists from Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Kosovo, Macedonia (FYROM), Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom have been brought together in a series of Open Space meetings across the region. They will continue to work across borders to promote intercultural dialogue and co-operation.
At the core of the project lies the process of collaboration itself; the networks and joint objectives will promote the sharing of tools, materials and work methods.
Collaboration will:
foster mutual trust and respect |
build consensus |
spread skills and knowledge |
promote communication across Europe’s diverse cultures. |
Till 10 October 2008 we were inviting applications for our Collaborative Project fund.
This fund will support a series of collaborative cross-border arts project in South East Europe and the UK.
