Talking about climate change

Last year we commissioned openDemocracy to run an online debate entitled 'The Politics of Climate Change', as part of the ZeroCarbonCity campaign. It included around 50 newly-commissioned articles by leading scientists, writers and others and addressed six major aspects of climate change: science and uncertainty; Kyoto and what may come after it; issues of global justice and development; technical and policy challenges; arts and imagination; and creating more environmentally friendly cities.

You can download a summary of the debate below. The wide-ranging views reflected in the summary 'takes the temperature' of some of the best analysis, thinking and public discussion around this crucial global issue.
