Please note that participants should be at least 18 years old. Be aware that the training courses listed will be in English, without the possibility of permanent translation. The UK National Agency will pay for your transport from the UK to the country where the training is taking place. Please check with us whether we intend to send participants to the training activity before you apply. The host National Agency will pay for accommodation, meals, and any local transport.

EUROPEAN TRAINING CALENDAR
Everything at a glance: Training within the Youth in Action programme and beyond.

Looking for youth training activities?
The European Training Calendar gives you an overview of international not-for-profit training activities that are looking for participants. The target group of these courses and seminars are usually youth workers or young people.

Looking for participants?
Simply add your youth training course, seminar or study visit to the European Training Calendar. After a short quality check your offer will be put online where thousands of users can see it and apply.

What do you find in the European Training Calendar?
The main (but not only) focus of the European Training Calendar is the Youth in Action programme. All training activities in the calendar should be European (or international), not-for-profit, and related to youth work or youth project. Traditionally, you can find the following activities:

  • SALTO YOUTH and National Agencies courses and seminars
  • Training courses of youth NGOs (e.g. within Action 4.3)
  • Training activities of institutional partners (Partnership, Council of Europe, ...)
  • Yours?

For further information, questions and comments, please consult the European Training Calendar help pages or contact training@salto-youth.net.

TRAINING RESOURCES

New Training Manual on Risk Awareness available online:

Protection and safety of young people involved in the Youth in Action projects are important principles of the Programme. All young persons participating in the Programme deserve the opportunity to achieve their full potential in terms of social, emotional, and spiritual development. This can only be assured in a safe environment which respects and protects rights of young persons and safeguards and promotes their welfare. The fundamental objective is to ensure that all those who work with young people recognise a duty to safeguard the protection of young people and are able to fulfil this duty.
The training of trainers module in good practice, in Youth in Action exchange projects, is based on the NCYI'S Child Protection Awareness Programme and has been adapted for international use and piloted with trainers from different countries.
