Year of Wales

The best of Welsh, music, art and culture takes centre stage at this year’s Lorient Interceltic festival in Brittany, where Wales is featured nation. Nearly 200 Welsh performers will be taking to the stage during the festival, which runs from August 1-10.

Imagine your future
Students from Bridgend College have created a DVD, together with locals and newcomers to the community, about the impact of  immigration in the area. The aim is to eliminate stereotypes and create a better understanding of minorities and new migrant communities.
