The British Council’s OPENCities Faces photographic exhibition provides a first-hand glimpse of the experience of living in a new city.

UK photographer and writer, Len Grant – a specialist in regeneration and urban issues -  has put together this candid exhibition which opens at the Old Library in The Hayes, Cardiff, on 11 September. The photos capture the experiences of new migrants in 8 European cities and the Cardiff contribution to the project which you can see below comes from locally born and bred photographer, Gareth Phillips.
