Science

We help to build lasting relationships between scientists and researchers around the world and support scientific collaboration through the exchange of ideas and knowledge. We encourage people to talk about science and its impact upon society.

There will be widespread recognition of the role of science, engineering and technology in helping to extend our understanding of the world and develop imaginative solutions to shared problems. Science will provide a common platform for collaboration and discussion that brings people together across deep cultural divides.  The universal language of science will encourage the mutual understanding essential for a more peaceful, secure and economically prosperous world.

Current Projects
Each year, the British Council runs global science projects to communicate messages around exciting or topical scientific issues.
