OPENCities Soundtrack For Cardiff is a British Council competition in partnership with Cardiff City Council and MAGIX and supported by Red Dragon FM.

What is OPENCities?
Cardiff is one of 8 European cities that are participating in the British Council’s OPENCities programme, which aims to show how multicultural cities are successful cities.

Council Leader Cllr Rodney Berman says: "Cardiff has a strong and proud tradition of welcoming economic migrants. As a city it has grown considerably over the past 200 years, with the endeavour and innovation of migrants contributing significantly to its success. By attracting people from across the globe we have not only created a prosperous capital, but also a lively and energetic city with its own distinct Cardiff character"

Have Your Say: What's the best and worst thing about living in Cardiff?

OPENCities would like to hear from you about what’s good and what’s not-so-good about living in the capital city.

Please take a couple of minutes to fill out our Word On The Street Cardiff survey.

You can also take a look and see what new migrants and international students have already said about Cardiff in another survey which was conducted for the British Council by the University Of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC), earlier this year.

OPENCities Faces Photo Exhibition:
The OPENCities Faces photo exhibition is currently at the Old Library in Cardiff city centre. The exhibition’s images take a candid and personal look at making a new life in Cardiff and other cities across Europe.

OPENCities Faces is at the Old Library until October 13th. Visit the exhibition and get inspired!

Don't forget, Soundtrack for Cardiff closes on Wednesday 14th October. Get your entry in as soon as possible and good luck!
