Schools of the Month 2009
School of the Month

Are you, or do you know a school that has successfully incorporated international activities into the school culture? Are staff and students aware of international activities and do they embrace diversity in culture and activities? Do they challenge stereotypes and ensure tolerance?

British Council Wales believes that it is important to celebrate excellence and share best practice. We want to bring into the spotlight schools that are leading the way in incorporating an international dimension into the school ethos/culture, and so creating future global citizens.

Schools selected will have a webpage dedicated to their activities – as recognition of their excellent work.  The school will feature on our website for a period of a month, and will then be included in our archive of schools nominated throughout the year.

If you would like to be considered, or if you would like to nominate a school, please fill in the form attached (English Version/Welsh Version) here and e-mail to Lowri Jones (Lowri.Jones@britishcouncil.org), for further enquiries please call 02920 924300.
