If you are a teacher in Wales, we can offer you and your school the chance to link with your counterparts around the world through exchanges, development opportunities, networks and partnerships.
COMENIUS
Comenius provides opportunities for schools and colleges to introduce and strengthen the European dimension in their curriculum.
Connecting Classrooms
This programme aims to develop a pupil community which enjoys a greater connection with peers overseas and develops an informed perception of their culture and aspirations.
Global Schools Partnership
We promote and support sustainable, long-term links between schools in Wales and schools in the developing world in order to raise awareness of global interdependence and sustainable development.
eTwinning
eTwinning enables schools in 32 European countries to work together using Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Partnerships are formed online; teachers with their students collaborate on a range of curriculum based projects using exciting and innovative ICT tools.

INDIE

Inclusion and Diversity in Education (INDIE) is a British Council led project aimed at promoting social cohesion and raising educational standards in culturally inclusive schools.

INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY

To support the development of this approach, British Council Wales are offering funding for schools to take up the opportunity to become involved in an International Professional Learning Community (IPLC) programme.

International Inspiration
The official international sports legacy programme of London 2012. It uses the power of sports to enrich the lives of millions of children and young people of all abilities, in schools and communities across the world, by providing access to high quality and inclusive physical education (PE), sports and play.
Schools Online
British Council Schools Online is a web community with a variety of online tools designed to help enable teachers to network with one another, seek and share advice, access professional development resources and updates and join or form partnerships with schools to work together on international projects.
