Connecting Classrooms is the British Council’s global programme for schools, creating sustainable partnerships between groups of schools in the UK and around the world.
After successful regional projects with several countries, Connecting Classrooms has launched globally this year. The new global programme works with local authorities, district education offices and other co-ordinating bodies, to create and support links between groups of schools.
Connecting Classrooms offers schools and local authorities support, funding, professional development and eligibility for accreditation to recognise their work. Partnerships enrich the curriculum, improve skills and motivation and help schools and local authorities to meet core Government objectives. Read more about the programme
