School partnership with China
Head teacher, David Pedwell speaks up

Oakfield Primary have been linked with Renmin Primary School in China for two years. This Wales China Joint Curriculum Project includes joint curriculum work in both school’s classrooms, and teachers in both schools having had the opportunity to visit Cardiff and Chongqing.

What is Wales China Joint Curriculum Project?

This programme is open to primary and secondary schools in Wales and aims to establish and maintain sustainable partnerships with similar schools in the municipality of Chongqing in China. Aspects of the partnership include visits, joint curriculum work and e-communication.
