Charles De Gaulle Bursary
If you're aged seventeen to nineteen and have a good level of French (UK students) or English (French students), you could spend four weeks in France or the UK working on a project that you've devised yourself.

Connect Youth
If you are a young person looking for international experiences Connect Youth can offer you opportunities through youth exchanges and initiatives, voluntary work experience in Europe and English language summer camps.

Comenius
Comenius is part of the Lifelong Learning Programme. Comenius provides funded opportunities for schools and colleges to introduce or strengthen the European dimension in their curriculum through creating partnerships with other educational institutions and professional development. The new Comenius Regio partnerships allow local authorities to participate directly.

Erasmus
Erasmus is the programme for higher education students that enables you to study or carry out a work placement in one of 30 other countries in Europe, as part of your degree, HND or foundation course. Whether you go for three months or 12, it will enhance your personal development, your job opportunities, your confidence, and your enjoyment of life. Not only will you acquire a broader range of skills to offer a future employer, but you’ll have fun doing it.

Global Xchange
Global Xchange aims to support the development of active global citizens, committed to working for positive change within communities. The Global Xchange programme is a six-month exchange programme which gives young people (aged 18 to 25) from different countries a unique opportunity to work together, to develop and share valuable skills and to make a practical contribution where it is needed in local communities.

Lefevre Trust
The Lefèvre Trust aims to increase understanding and trust between young people in the UK and France by providing funding to support one-way or reciprocal visits that are part of innovative projects.

Youth in Action
The Youth in Action Programme provides mobility projects and opportunities for young Europeans. It also promotes the development of good quality national and local initiatives involving young people. Youth in Action is operated by the European Commission and administrated by the National Authorities and National Agencies.

WorldSkills Wales
WorldSkills UK provides around 70 quality assured skills competitions. Run annually, these competitions aim to encourage young people and adults across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to excel in their vocational skill area
