LIPD FAQ
LECTURER'S INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

What is LIPD?
Lecturer's International Professional Development (LIPD) is a programme aimed exclusively at Further Education lecturers and managers in Wales.
The programme, funded by the National Assembly of Wales, is in partnership with Fforwm and gives Further Education lecturers in Wales the opportunity to experience good educational practice in different countries around the world.
By immersing participants in the education system of another country, LIPD will offer lecturers a focused and challenging experience.
Through this programme we aim to increase the professional capacity of the staff member in his or her area of interest and encourage the development of links between Welsh colleges and their international counterparts in areas of mutual interest.

Who is Eligible?
This is a programme principally aimed at Further Education lecturers and managers in Wales.
To participate, you should also have a real interest in the international dimension in education provision and a flexible attitude towards exposure to alternative systems and practice
