Through our support and collaboration with festivals and prizes in Wales we aim to broaden and build international audiences for new work.

Ffresh
Now in its 10th year, Ffresh – the Student Moving Image Festival of Wales – features the best student work from Wales, the UK, and abroad, along with masterclasses, panel sessions and workshops with some of the industry’s most renowned and respected figures.
Hay Festival
An annual festival of literature and arts held in Hay on Wye in May and June. In recent years it has expanded internationally and sister festivals take place in countries such as Kenya and India.
Sŵn
Swn is a three day showcase of some of the best music from Wales and from around the world alongside DJs, film and art, held throughout Cardiff. The event was started by DJ Huw Stephens.
Takeover Cardiff 2013
Takeover Cardiff will bring together arts, education, society and youth activity via the platform of internationalism to empower young people within iconic venues around Cardiff.
Starless and Bible Black
British Council Wales is leading the co-ordination and development of Starless and Bible Black, the international programme for the Dylan Thomas 100 Centenary.
