This free seminar will provide information about British Council’s biennial Edinburgh Showcase and discussion about other opportunities and showcases that have helped to develop work from Wales in international contexts. Please bring your questions, ideas and experience to share. We will provide a buffet lunch which will also be an opportunity to chat and catch up.
The day will include sessions on:
- British Council overview – who they are and how they work
- Introduction to the British Council’s Edinburgh showcase including discussion about presenting at the Edinburgh Fringe
- Brief introduction to Wales Arts International
- Presentation and discussion lead by a key practitioner from Wales
- General discussion and Q&A about the sector in Wales
