Acting as a window into the United Kingdom, we offer a wide variety of specialised information services. Everything you may want to know about the UK, from its culture and society to its language and literature, can be found in our centres. In addition, students and parents of students who wish to study in the UK can find invaluable information within our centres. In particular we are able to provide specific information and advice on the following:

Information Services for Members only

We have created a modern learning and information-rich environment, in which members can fully enjoy the best of British entertainment and academia through our classic and up-to-date film and literature collection. In addition, members also have access to the latest materials with which to improve their English, prepare for exams or develop professionally through our state of the art collection of English language learning materials and special interest topics, including books, cassettes, videos, audio CDs, DVDs and online applications.

In addition to the vast number of texts and materials, members of the information centre can also gain access to an extensive collection of the latest, specially imported UK magazines and newspapers (rarely found elsewhere in Vietnam), providing an insight into the culture of the modern day UK.

With high quality reporting on current affairs from around the world, our BBC World TV corner not only keeps you informed about the latest world events, but can help improve your English listening skills too.

In order to provide the very latest and most up-to-date information, all of the computers in the Information Centre have free Internet access. This allows our members to discover the UK through its web sites, learn English or exploit the numerous and often costly study aids available on the Internet free of charge in the centre.

As well as providing you with access to the Information Centre and its wealth of materials your membership card also enables you to join a number of exciting and informative events organised by the British Council such as ‘In-Conversation’ with guest speakers, competitions, theme displays and presentations etc.
