HOW CAN I BECOME A MEMBER OF THE INFORMATION CENTRE IN HANOI AND IN HO CHI MINH CITY?

The Information Centres are primarily for Teaching Centre students, UKAV member or IELTS exam candidates. Enrolment for paying members has been suspended. However, you are welcome to visit the Information Centres occasionally to:

  • get answers to specific enquiries about the UK
  • find out more about the resources on offer in the information centre

You have to show a form of identity to the customers services staff (ID card or passport) before entering the centre.

I AM A STUDENT AT BRITISH COUNCIL TEACHING CENTRE, HOW CAN I JOIN?

Students of the British Council Teaching Centres (TC) in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City who are at least 15 years old are entitled to FREE membership to the Information Centre.

TC students in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are offered membership starting from the beginning of their first class to when their last class finishes. They will use their Campus booking confirmation paper and their ID card for entrance to the Information Centre.

WHAT IF I AM A UKAV MEMBER?

UKAV members are eligible for FREE membership to the Information Centres and their UKAV membership card can be used to access our centres.

If you are Vietnamese and studied in the UK for at least three months, please visit our UKAV website www.ukav.org and register for UKAV membership.

I AM CURRENTLY PREPARING FOR IELTS, CAN I USE THE CENTRES?

IELTS candidates registered at the British Council Hanoi will be offered two weeks FREE membership to Information Centres, to access to a wide variety of IELTS preparation materials.

In Ho Chi Minh City, IELTS candidates can access the Information Centre from the date of registration to the test date.
