JOB VACANCY – TEACHING ASSISTANT, HANOI

The British Council in Vietnam works with individuals, educational institutions, government and business to deliver programmes in Education and society, English, and the arts. The British Council Teaching Centre in Hanoi is now looking for some Teaching Assistants to assist native teachers in and out of primary classrooms and assist administration functions across activities of the centre. You will:

  • assist teachers both inside and outside classroom
  • supervise primary-aged children outside classroom
  • provide general administration support including interpretation and translation work to team members

Gross wages: 2 USD/hour

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Good level of English and Vietnamese (IELTS 6.0 /Upper Intermediate and above)
  • Good academic records
  • Patient, responsible and interested in the welfare of the children
  • Detail-focused and customer-oriented
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer)
