If you have five seconds to spare then I’ll tell you the story of my life…
I was born in the year of the cat in west London, started teaching in the year of the tiger and first came to Viet Nam in the year of the monkey. These years I always find appropriate, although I can never quite fathom out why. I hope to meet somebody some day who can explain.
The British Council has been my ‘home’ for the last two years, and I feel extremely privileged to have taught Vietnamese and students from other nationalities here.
My spare time is occupied with the three ‘r’ s, running, reading and relaxing, in bed or in beer.
I have one beautiful daughter named Kiya.
