I was born in Salford, England, 3 kilometres from Old Trafford, so naturally I am a Manchester United Fan.
After 12 years working in Market Research and Cost Consultancy, I decided to change direction and completed my CELTA in London and for my first teaching assignment  I headed to Taiwan. I spent 5 very interesting years there and after a lot of thought decided to move to Vietnam.
I arrived in Vietnam in 2004, got married in 2005 and then my daughter was born in 2006. Life in Vietnam so far, has been great. Long may it continue.
I enjoy swimming, playing with my daughter and generally soaking up the sun.
