I’m originally from a small town in the north of England in a beautiful area called The Lake District.  I studied Media and Cultural Studies at University in Bristol before taking my TEFL qualification and moving to Lisbon, Portugal to start teaching.  I returned to the UK and spent 3 years teaching English in Brighton to students from all over the world.  In this time I managed to complete my DELTA and became an IELTS examiner.

In my free time I enjoy taking photographs, swimming and socialising with friends in this vibrant city.  I have always loved cooking so exploring the markets in Ho Chi Minh City looking for ingredients has been an exciting if not a bit of an eye-opening experience!  Moving to Vietnam in January 2009 has definitely been a great decision and I certainly don’t miss the cold weather back in the UK!
