I was born in Glasgow at a very young age and grew up in Newton Stewart, a small town in the South West of Scotland. I studied Law in Dundee before taking a year out travelling through Italy and the Greek Islands. I worked in a nursery school in Edinburgh while I was saving for my CELTA and then took my first teaching post in Taiwan, where I spent two years. I came to work at the British Council in Vietnam last October, so I’m still quite a newcomer. Amongst my interests are reading, films, music, swimming, horse-riding (when I can find any horses!), socialising and red wine.
