The British Council’s UK film Festival 2012 entitled ‘London calling’ will be held in five major cities throughout Vietnam including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Hue, Danang and Hai Phong from 29 August to 11 September 2012, featuring famous UK movies from different periods of time from the 1960’s to 2010.
The film festival will showcase different aspects of traditional and contemporary London to Vietnamese audiences across a range of different genres with films nominated for prizes at the Oscars, BAFTA Film Awards, Grammy and the Golden Globe Award.
The British Council also launches a small quiz about UK cinema and the Olympic Games in London with promising gifts for the winners.
