The International Young Design Entrepreneur Award 2011-2012

       

The International Young Design Entrepreneur Award is organised by Global British Council to celebrate young creative talent across the world. After the successes of the Fashion award in 2008 and Screen award in 2010, this year, Vietnam will be participating in the competition for the Design sector. The entrants of this award are Viet Nam citizens, aged between 25 to 40, already working in the design sector for a minimum of 3 years.

The national winner will:

  • represent Vietnam in the international competition “The Young Design Entrepreneur”  in the UK in September 2011
  • receive a 7-10 day trip to the UK with opportunities to network with UK design industry partners and winners from participating countries
  • participate in the prestigious ‘London Fashion Week’ and ‘London Design Festival’
  • receive a Design Award certificate and 15 million VNĐ to invest into the winner’s bussiness idea

Deadline for applications is 1700, 30 June 2011.

The short-listed candidates will be invited to attend an interview between 11 and 15 July 2011.
