The Learning Lounge in Chiang Mai is where you can make enquiries about our English Language courses and examinations.

There is also an area reserved for people who want to improve their English. The self-access learning corner provides access to books, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, videos and computer programmes resources to help you:

Prepare for IELTS with

the IELTS software which includes IELTS Academic (Academic Module practice exercises) and IELTS General (General Training Module practice exercises).
the IELTS practice materials with exercises which cover different skills such as the useful textbooks below;

Action Plan for IELTS (Left): A short self-study guide for candidates about to take the IELTS test. The book is organised by paper and examines each question type in detail. It gives candidates a last-minute action plan, providing examples, mini practice tasks and strategies to maximise their band score in the test.
IELTS Preparation and Practice Listening and Speaking (Right): A series providing comprehensive preparation for the IELTS. With Practice Tests with annotated key.

Membership is free but if you wish to borrow any material you will need to take out a special membership.

Special Offer! If you register to take IELTS test at the British Council Chiangmai, the special membership will be offered to you for free!
